Our early careers programme

Infinis Futures

about futures

We’re launching Infinis Futures, our new early careers programme designed to create opportunities for young people in the places where we are building.

As Infinis continues to invest in new renewable energy infrastructure, we want our projects to leave a positive legacy in the communities that host them.

The UK’s transition to renewable energy will need a new generation of skilled people to help develop, build and operate the infrastructure we need.

At the same time, getting that first meaningful opportunity to start a career can be one of the hardest steps.

That’s why we’re creating Infinis Futures: an early careers programme combining a recognised qualification with hands-on experience and responsibility on live renewable energy projects.

Hear from colleagues across Infinis about the programme, how their own careers started, where those first opportunities have taken them and why giving people that first chance matters.

Five opportunities. Three live projects.

The first Infinis Futures intake will create five Trainee Project Manager opportunities linked directly to major Infinis renewable energy projects.

  • California, Stockton-on-Tees – 1 role
  • Gowerton, Swansea – 1 role
  • Kettering, Northamptonshire – 3 roles

These aren’t classroom-based development roles. You’ll be embedded in a live renewable energy project, working alongside experienced colleagues and taking on genuine responsibility.

Alongside your role, you’ll complete a Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship, building practical skills across project planning, coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement and site activity.

You don’t need to know everything from day one, or have followed a predetermined route to get here. Being willing to learn and make the most of opportunities can take you a long way.
