Infinis, the UK’s leading renewable and low carbon energy generator from captured methane, has announced the renewal of a three-year contract with Clarke Energy, distributor and service provider for INNIO Jenbacher engines.

To align with Infinis’ and Clarke Energy’s sustainability strategies, the new agreement sets out how both parties will work together to reduce the carbon intensity of parts supplied to Infinis’ fleet of 200+ Jenbacher engines.

Robert Tomlins, director of operations at Infinis, commented: “We are delighted to be entering a new contract with Clarke Energy, a valued partner to Infinis for more than 20 years. Clarke have continually delivered and are a foundation of ensuring our high operational asset availability and maximising the renewable energy Infinis generates.

“Innovation has been pivotal to the success of this partnership, and I have confidence that continued innovation will deliver a lower carbon intensity of supply.”

Alan Frost, commercial director at Clarke Energy, said: “The signing of this new agreement extends our longstanding relationship with Infinis and we are very pleased to be offering our products and services in support of their business for another three years.

“Our common goals to maximise availability, reliability, and sustainability across the INNIO Jenbacher engine portfolio has allowed us to collectively implement continuous improvement throughout the supply chain and we look forward to continuing this positive journey in the future.”
