Management Accountant

Location
Lancaster/Northampton/hybrid

  • This job involves preparing management accounts and performance reports for Infinis' Centre of Excellence in Lancaster.

    Key tasks to complete include:

    • Track and analyse spend against budget
    • Monitor costs
    • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
    • Review and maintain strong financial controls
    • Provide financial support to the Centre Manager and team as needed.

     

  • A professional accountancy qualification - such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA - is key, along with experience working in a busy finance team. Or you could choose your own route through a finance apprenticeship.

    You need to be proactive, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be a team player.

    You must also be familiar with Microsoft packages, especially Excel.

     

  • This is a great job if you like analysing information and problem-solving. You can investigate challenges and work out ways to make sure things are improved for the future.

    It's also a friendly, close-knit team.

  • This job provides a chance to develop financial and reporting skills. It's a good stepping-stone to a leadership role.

  • The Communications Executive helps to raise awareness and understanding of our business.

    • Produce and publish content - including website and intranet articles, news releases, social media posts, emails and printed materials
    • Contribute to the communications plan
    • Maintain video/image libraries
    • Manage/support projects.

     

  • A marketing/communications/journalism degree and at least one year's post-qualification experience would be ideal.

    You'll need clear writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.

    You must be confident to handle your own workload and support others where needed.

    A good listener, you can capture information and tell an inspiring story.

  • Several years of recruitment/hiring experience is important in this job. You need to understand employment law and be familiar with the different stages in the recruitment process. Recruitment agency experience would be a bonus.

    You need excellent listening skills and must be a strong verbal and written communicator.
